There are no records of any "visits" to my Blog, and I am disappointed. I was wondering if anyone has actually had a "peep," but declined to leave any comment.
The reason this crossed my mind, is due to a sudden decline in the number of "bookings" I have received from some Assemblies where my ministry has been well received in the past. I shrink from naming the particular Assemblies from fear of being mistaken, but there is an element of "wideness" creeping in, perhaps unawares, in some of the Meetings.It is strange that when we are first "born anew," we enter by "the straightened gate and narrow way," but, as we "walk" we widen the path to accommodate things we would never have countenanced while we had "first love" ardency. Our walk is less "worthy of the Lord," we settle for it being worthy of our own standards, or that of our brethren; pleasing to ourselves, or to our fellow saints, rather than pleasing Him. We may boast that we are free from the "fear of men," but how many of us are "in fear" of our fellow saints?
